Robin Wood Sailer is a General Partner at Helena Capital. Previously, she worked at CBS News, Bloomberg News, and The Wall Street Journal | Barron’s Group. She has produced award-winning programming for digital news, broadcast television, audio, mixed reality, and nearly 100 news-making events across Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, and Le Labs.
She was part of the team that built the original Bloomberg Events division—a business incubated at Bloomberg Ventures. At The Wall Street Journal, she helped produce WSJ Tech Live in Laguna and Hong Kong, as well as the Future of Everything Festival. Across both Bloomberg and WSJ, she oversaw the curation of founders and investors featured in startup showcases within major technology conferences. At Dow Jones, during the pandemic, her business unit joined Prehype’s accelerator to launch a virtual event business. Robin later launched and ran the custom and brand events business.
Robin has advised Fortune 500 companies, executive leaders, founders, investors, and non-profits on storytelling, event strategy, strategic partnerships, and business development. She co-founded Le Labs Group and was an ecosystem consultant with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
She currently serves as an advisor at Glimmer, Bhakta Spirits, sits on the board of the New York Financial Writers Association and the Advisory Council of the Center for Maine Contemporary Art.
